DOBOX Asia is a collection of narrative digital immersions that invites you to discover Japan, Korea and China differently. Through stories, places, characters and details of everyday life, you explore these cultures from within, as if you were there.
You step into a story from your browser. Depending on the immersion, you observe, make choices, interact with situations and discover cultural details as the journey unfolds. The goal is not to “win”, but to experience the story at your own pace.
You receive access to the chosen digital immersion and the content that makes up its journey: scenes, interactions, cultural elements and traces linked to your DOBOX Asia trip. The exact content is described on each immersion page.
No. The immersions are designed to be experienced without prior knowledge. When cultural context is useful to understand a situation, it is introduced at the right moment in the experience.
The duration depends on the immersion. It is shown on its presentation so you know what to expect. You can move at your own pace and return to your journey whenever the experience allows it.
Yes. The website and immersions are designed to adapt to phones, tablets and computers. For highly visual or sound-rich scenes, a larger screen and headphones may simply make the experience more comfortable.
Yes. Once your access is activated, you can start whenever you like and return to your journey from your DOBOX Asia passport.
No. DOBOX Asia explores East Asia. The first stories take you to Japan and South Korea, while other destinations, including China, are planned.
No. DOBOX Asia is not designed to replace a practical travel guide or give you a checklist of places to visit. We create narrative cultural experiences that place gestures, conversations and everyday habits back into context.
